What's the connection between the Gauls and the Farm? La Ferme d'Argentin tells the story of agriculture, from prehistory to the present day. For each historical period, you'll find animals and plants with a strong link to that period. Large illustrations present the landscape and the human way of life. But it's so much better in real life! That's why Ferme d'Argentin has invited the Médiomatrici troupe to set up camp in the meadows for a weekend.
The Médiomatrici will take you back in time through various workshops: wool spinning, vegetable dyeing, coinage, pottery, leatherwork, blacksmithing. They'll also continue their military training to be ready to defend the village in the event of war, and use their musical instruments. A real plunge into the Iron Age. You'll be able to talk to members of the tribe: they're passionate about Gaulish life and will be delighted to share their knowledge.
Warn that Romans or Germans may mix with the Gauls, and battle is never far away! The warriors will be giving several demonstrations over the course of the weekend. And to get the kids in on the action too, there will be a number of battles to let them have fun with their own size of equipment!
