Description

The Quartier Libre Festival is supported by the Association Hêtre, a cultural association made up of some twenty active members committed to the democratization of art and culture in the Val d'Argent (Alsace). Its aim: to make art accessible to as many people as possible, to encourage openness, exchange, better living together and... joy! Every year since 2012, the Quartier Libre festival has been held in Ste-Marie-aux-Mines. Quartier Libre, a borderless atmosphere where everyone has a place in the middle of the squares, where live art descends and transforms the everyday street with inventiveness, humor, poetry, beauty, or surprise: music, shows, entertainment, but also games, crafts, installations of unusual spaces and encounters, ... A moment of freedom and joy for all.
