Description

The Pays d'Art et d'Histoire du Val d'Argent will be organizing a discovery hike "in the footsteps of the miners" on Saturday June 1.
Meeting at 2pm in front of the Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines Theatre.
Duration: approx. 3.30 hrs; 8.5 km route, 525 m ascent.
Learn about mining in the Val d'Argent on a guided hike through La Fouchelle, the Saint Philippe valley and La Bourgonde. The hike takes in the surface vestiges of mining activity, and features beautiful landscape views.
